2002 Benefit Fundraiser

Sunday, July 14, 2002 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
at the Back To The Wild center located
at 4504 Bardshar Road, Castalia, Ohio.


Tickets are $10 for adults, children age 6 through 12 are $5, and children 5 years and under are free. Tickets include free ice cream and door prize chances. Food and beverages will be available from vendors on the grounds.

Tickets will be available at the door or by pre-ordering by mail.

When ordering tickets, please indicate how many adult tickets ($10 ea) and how many kid's tickets ($5). Kids are those 6 to 12 years old. DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS!

Donations for the live auction and garage sale are needed. We are looking for your "white elephants". Contact the center about items you would consider donating and please include a description of the item. Donated items (no bedding or clothing, please) may be dropped off at the Center any time between now and July 13th.


Proceeds of this Benefit will be used for the care and feeding of the animals and for day-to-day operating expenses of the center. Last year (2001), Back To The Wild presented educational programs to over 34,000 children and adults - encouraging listeners to take an active role in understanding, preserving and protecting our natural world. As you may know, Back To The Wild receives no State or Federal funding of any kind and depends 100% on the generosity of the community to enable us to continue our work in wildlife rehabilitation and education. Last year, Back To The Wild received over 1,400 injured wild animals!

The center is located east of Castalia, Ohio at 4504 Bardshar Road. The center is about three miles south of the State Route 2 and State Route 101 intersection. Take SR 101 south about one mile to the intersection with Bardshar Road. Go south on Bardshar about two miles to the center.
(Castalia is about five miles southwest of Sandusky, Ohio.)
