BACK TO THE WILD
Volunteers

BACK TO THE WILD, Inc.is a 501-C3 non-profit corporation that manages a wildlife rehabilitation center in northwest Ohio. Its primary mission is to rehabilitate and ultimately release into their natural habitat, injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife.  BACK TO THE WILD also presents educational programs to schools, youth groups, park districts and community organizations. For further information, contact Mona Rutger at 419-684-9539 or e-mail mona@backtothewild.com.

This center is completely non-funded, depending solely on private contributions and donations from many caring individuals and organizations throughout the community. Many volunteers offer helping hands to allow the center to continue this important work. Volunteer jobs range from cage cleaning, cage construction and repair, grounds maintenance, office work, answering phone calls regarding a wild animal crisis, clinic work, fund-raising and providing educational tours to visitors at the center.
