BACK TO THE WILD® Fundraiser Activities

Before a fund raiser, the center accepts "quality items" (new, unusual, antiques, or collectibles) to be donated for a live auction or silent auction. If you have some quality items to donate, please call the Center to find out when items may be dropped off.

Wild Thang! Public fundraiser hosted by Catawba Island Brewing Co.

Come join us for Wild Thang, a fundraiser for Back to the Wild Wildlife Rehabilitation and Nature Education Center. We will have a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and other fundraising activities. January 23 at 5:00 - 10:00 PM

Live entertainment and finger foods will be available.

AND we will be releasing Wild Thang, a chocolate peanut butter porter with vanilla! $1 from every pint sold will be donated. Other donations are encouraged.

NASA Astronaut visits Back To The Wild!

Don Thomas, Mona, and Bill with a Bald Eagle A special, high-flying visitor stopped by BACK TO THE WILD on May 19, 2004. Cleveland-native NASA astronaut Don Thomas paid a visit and was quite impressed with the operation and the work that Mona and Bill do for our planet's wildlife.

Two eagles are on a nest in northwestern Ohio in the winter of 2003/04. A Back To The Wild® supporter took some good photos from afar with a strong telephoto lens.

During January, the Norwalk Maplehurst Elementary students raised $1,020 in pennies
to help care for injured animals at BACK TO THE WILD®!!!

ANNUAL FUNDRAISER & OPEN HOUSE

Hundreds attended the annual fundraiser & open house and had a fun-filled family day ! ! !

from December 2001 to January 19, 2002 when she was released.
