The eagles are in the flight cage where they are being conditioned and being prepared to be released. The immature eagle was one of two eaglets whose nest blew down in the tornado in Wood County this summer. Back To The Wild staff immediately returned the eaglets to the nest site, where the parents returned and began feeding them. A week later one was found with a broken wing and returned to the center. She is recovering beautifully and will be returned to the wild soon (as of December 2010).
