Stop in and tour our center to see how we are helping Ohio's native wildlife.
This trip offers a chance to see some "behind the scenes" activities at a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
View over 50 Hawks, Owls, Peregrines, Bald Eagles, A Golden Eagle, Great Blue Herons, Egrets, Songbirds, Bobcats, Fox, Flying Squirrels, Reptiles, Amphibians and more.
The center is located at 4504 Bardshar Road, Castalia, Ohio, southwest of Sandusky. Call 419-684-9539 if you need help with directions. From the Rt. 2 By-Pass near Sandusky, take Rt. 101 southwest approximately 1 mile to the first intersection. Turn left (south) onto Bardshar Road. Go approximately 2 miles on Bardshar Road ~ BACK TO THE WILD will be on your left.
There is no admission fee for this open house, although donations are greatly appreciated to help care for injured wildlife at the center.

BACK TO THE WILD, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation that operates a wildlife rehabilitation center in northwest Ohio. Its primary mission is to rehabilitate and ultimately release into their natural habitat, injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife. BACK TO THE WILD presents educational programs to schools, youth groups, and community organizations.
